The ingredients needed to make Pink Tea:

  2. Prepare 4 cups Paani(water)
  3. Prepare Kashmiri tea leaves tbsp
  4. Make ready 1 Badiyan ka phool (Star anise)
  5. Get Cloves (Laung) 3-4
  6. Prepare 1/2 tbsp Elaichi (Cardamon seeds) crushed
  7. Get Namak(Salt) ½ tbsp or to taste
  8. Prepare 1/4 tbsp Baking Soda
  9. Get 2 cups Thanda pani (chilled water)
  10. Take For Kashmiri Tea:
  11. Make ready Doodh (milk) 2 & ½ cup
  12. Make ready 1/2 tbsp Badam (almonds) crushed
  13. Make ready 1/2 tbsp Pistay (Pistachio) crushed
  14. Get Cheeni (Sugar) to taste optional
  15. Take Kehwa 4tbsp or as required
Instructions to make Pink Tea:
  1. In a sauce pan add water, kashmiri tea leaves,star anise,cloves,cardamom seeds,salt and baking soda,bring to boil.
  2. Let it simmer for 20-30 minutes until it reduces to half. Add chilled water and mix well for 8to10 minutes and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Strain and set aside,kehwa is ready and can be refrigerated for up to to 4-5 days.
  4. For Kasmiri tea in a sauce pan add milk,almonds(crushed), pistachios(crushed),sugar(optional) and give it to a good mix. Add kehwa and cook for a few minutes.
  5. Finally pour the tea in a cups,add almonds(crushed),pistachios(crushed). Kashmiri Tea is ready🙂 Happy Cooking👩‍🍳😇
