  1. Take 300 gm bathua
  2. Make ready 2 potatoes
  3. Make ready 1 onion
  4. Make ready 1/2 inch ginger

  7. Get 1 tomato
  8. Take 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

  1. Wash and clean bathua and pick only the leaves throw away the stems. Blanche the leaves in hot water for 2 mins and drain.
  2. Grind onion, 1/2tsp rye, ginger and garlic into a fine paste
  3. Heat oil in a kadhai, add 1/2 tsp mustard seeds, let it splutter then add the paste grounded, then add all the dry masala powder and salt… Cook till oil leaves sides… Then add the chopped tomato and cook till the tomato is mushy and soft…then add potato cubes (small)…cook for 2 mins and then add the blanched bathua.. add 1/2cup water and cover the lid and let it cook till potatoes r soft.
  4. Serve hot with roti or rice.
