- Take 2 bay leaves
- Get 1 tbsp any good brand biryani masala
- Prepare 3 cups basmati rice
- Make ready 2 lemon slices and 1 tomato 🍅 slices

- Get Few drops red colour
- Take 1/4 cup milk
- Get 2 tbsp podina
- Prepare 2 potato cubes (optional)
- Get 1/4 tsp jaifal javatri powder
Mutton Dum Biryani Recipe is a biryani recipe that is packed with flavours of the caramelized onions and the spices. - First of all boiled rice with salt and few drops of lemon and oil (about half done) and strain it.
- Now wash the motton completely and arrange the spices on a plate/ bowl.
- Heat the pan add oil and onions and stir it until it becomes golden brown it's colour strain half onions then add ginger garlic paste sauté it.
- Now add motton stir it well than add all the spices and tomato 🍅 slices stir it well.
- Now add yoghurt stir it then add 2 potatoes in cubes(it’s optional, if you don’t like) skip it.
- Now cook it well until it (motton)becomes tender completely,now add green, jaifal javatri,Coriander and mint leaves.
- Now shifting the rice in motton pot and set the layers of biryani and spread the colour, tomato, brown onions and lemon slices and spread 3,4 tbsp lukewarm milk like this way also add 2 tbsp ghee on the top of biryani and dum it for 20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes open the lid and mix the biryani and keep set in small patili and dish like this way.
