- Prapare a tadka of oil, mustard seeds and jeera
- Add hing and curry leaves
- Add 1 finely chopped onion saute till ot becomes translucent
- Add ginger garlic crushed or paste and - Saute nicely until golden
- Add haldi and sproted 1 1/2 cup moth beans/matki
- Mix it well and add water
- Pressure cook for 2 whistles
- Meanwhile, in same kadhai roast 2-3 tablespoon of dry coconut shavings with or without oil
- Saute 2 sliced onions, 2 pods garlic and 1 inch ginger untill golden
- Add 1 tomato and salt cover and let it become soft and mushy
- Add lil coriander leaves and saute for 10 seconds,let it cool down.
- Grind everything, with roasted coconut to a fine paste, try to use less water while grinding
- Prepare a tadka of mustard seeds, jeera curry leaves, hing
- Add grounded paste and saute untill it leaves oil from sides and becomes thicker
- Add haldi and heart of this dish 'Kanda lasoon masala'.If you dont have that masala then ' Goda masala' or 'garam masala' and redchilli powder
- Fry this for 10-15 secs
- Add pressure cooked sprouts with it's water and salt.
- Add hot water to adjust the consistency. Let it boil for a min or two
- Remember hot water keeps the taste intact and bring the oil out for this type of turrryyyy
