  19. Get 1/2 tsp red chilli powder

  21. Prepare Pinch asafoetida
  22. Make ready 1 tsp Kashmiri mirchi powder

Steps to make Bedmi Poori:
  1. For Bedmi Poori - In a bowl add Urad Dal, red chilli powder, green chilli, turmeric powder, Aamchur powder, 1/2 tsp cumin seeds and make a coarse paste.
  2. In a bowl add wheat flour, suji and 1/2 tsp cumin seeds, urad dal coarse paste, oil, salt, water as per need and make a soft dough.
  3. Make balls and with a rolling pin roll into pooris. Set aside. In a wok heat oil and fry the pooris one by one. Set aside
  4. For Aloo Rasa - boil potatoes in a pressure cooker on 4 whistles. Cool, drain and peel. Cut roughly and set aside.
  5. In a wok heat oil add asafoetida, add potatoes, whole red chilli, green chilli. Stir for 2-3 mins. Add chopped tomatoes stir for 2-3 mins.
  6. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, dry kasoori methi, Kashmiri mirchi powder. Stir for 1-2 mins. Add water and stir. Add salt. Stir. The consistency should be semi thick. Set aside
  7. Plate with tea or coffee and some cut limes, onions, tomatoes and green chilli and enjoy
