Steps to make Lilva Thotha:
  1. In a pan heat some oil and add cumin seeds.
  2. The cumin seeds starts fluttering add hing, add onion, saute for 2-minutes, add ginger garlic paste, saute for 1-minutes.
  3. Now add the chopped green onion white portion, add green garlic white portion, saute for 1-minutes.
  4. Add haldi / turmeric powder, and red chilli powder saute for 30-seconds
  5. Add chopped tomatoes and mix well. Add salt and mix well. and cook for 2-minutes.
  6. Tomato softens add green onion green part, and green garlic green part, and Coriander leaves. mix well.
  7. Add garam masala powder, and cinnamon, cloves, and black pepper powder.
  8. Mix well and add lilva. (half cook of lilva) and add water and stir well.
  9. Cook for 5-8 minutes. water is reduced lilva thotha is ready to serve. Sprinkle some sev on top and serve thotha hot with bread or rotla.
