  1. Soak rajmah and dal in water for 5_6 hours.add them in a pressure cooker.add as required water stir well.
  2. Cook for 7_8whistles on a high flame.
  3. Take a pan.heat oil and butter.add whole spices.saute for 2minutes become aroma.
  4. Add chopped onion saute for 2 minutes.then add ginger,garlic paste saute for a minute.add green chillies,tomatoes puree and stir well.add red chilli powder,nutmeg powder and spices mix it on a medium flame.
  5. Add boiled dal with a stock and as required warm water.simmer on a low flame for 10_15minutes.
  6. Add salt.once dal makhni begins thicken and creamy. Switch off the flame.now add crushed kasuri methi and ciba dal makhni masala stir well.
  7. Take a bowl serve dal makhni garnishing for fresh cream with nan,roti,rice.enjoyyy
