  6. In the side take a pan ; heat ghee/ oil ; saute onions till transparent.
  7. Add tomatoes ; ginger garlic and green chilli paste.
  8. Mix well.
  9. Add malai and all the dry masalas.
  10. Saute till oil leaves the sides of the pan.
  11. Add this to the dal mixture and mix.
  12. Add water ; boil it for 25-30 mins.
  13. Keep on stirring.
  14. Check the consistency.
  15. Add butter.
  16. Transfer in the lunch box and keep rotis or parathas with it.
