The ingredients needed to make Moong dal halwa:
  1. Get 200 gm moong dal
  2. Get Malai
  3. Get 1 small cup milk
  4. Take Sugar as per your taste
  5. Make ready Little water if needed
  6. Get Chopped dryfryuits

  3. Take kadai and put dal in it and dry water from it
  4. Grind coarsely in mixer
  5. Add malai and start roasting, as it starts changing colour add milk and chopped dryfryuits
  6. Roast it till ghee starts separating moong dal halwa ready to gorge

You can use the pulse mode of your mixer grinder to make a coarse paste. Now heat ghee in a pan and add the dal paste to it and stir and cook on low flame and see dal turning golden brown.
