- Prepare 1 Tsp garam masala
- Get 1 Tsp gram flour
- Make ready 1/2 cup curd
- Get 2 Tsp malaI
- Prepare 1 Tsp crushed kasuri methi
- Get As per taste Salt
- Get As required Oil
- Get For Crushing:
- Prepare 1 black cardamoms
- Get 4 Green cardamons
- Get 2 cloves
- Make ready 4 black pepper corns
- Get 2 Tsp cream
- Make ready For tempring:
- Prepare 1 tsp desi ghee
- Get 1 tsp chopped garlic
For the kofta: Grind the dals, grate the cheese cubes and mix well. Crumble the bread slices and mix in. Add rest of the ingredients and knead into dough like consistency. For the gravy: Puree the tomatoes, onions and the dry fruits separately.
Instructions to make Chana dal ka kofta:
- In a mixture put boiled chana Dal, grind it.
- Take it out in a bowl.Add mashed potatoes,salt,crushed spices,Green chillies, coriander leaves,2 garlic cloves crushed,dry fruits,clove, cardamoms.
- Mix all things together.Make it like a dough.
- Make small size balls,like koftas.
- Fry it in oil golden.Keep it aside.
- Take a Heat pan put oil,let it hot.
- Add cumin seeds, crackle it.
- Add onion Fry it golden.Add ginger, garlic paste.Fry it 2 miniutes.
- Add all powdered masala.put 2 tsp water.
- Add grinded tomato,cook it 2 miniutes.
- Now add garam masala,salt.Add curd,mix it.
- Add 2 cups of water,let it boil 5 miniutes.
- Add 1 tsp cream mix it.Temper it with desi ghee & garlic.
- Now gravy is ready,sprinkle 1 pinch coriander leaves.
- Take a serving plate,put koftas in it.Pour hot gravy in it.
- Garnish it with cream,& coriander leaves.
- It can be served any time, lunch,or dinner.
