The ingredients needed to make Veg Handvo:
  1. Prepare For handvo:-To be mixed together
  2. Make ready 1 cup parboiled green moong sprout's and coarsely grind
  3. Take 1/2 cup sweet corn boiled and crushed
  4. Take 1/2 cup boiled and mashed potatoes
  5. Get 3/4 cup chopped & boiled mix vegetables
  6. Prepare as needed (French beans, cauliflower, carrots, green peas)
  7. Prepare 1/2 cup cooked rice sightly mashed
  8. Take 1/4 cup semolina/rawa
  9. Take 1 tbsp besan
  10. Make ready 2 tsp lemon juice
  11. Take 1/4 cup finely chopped coriander leaves
  12. Get 1 tsp finely chopped green chillies
  13. Get 1 tsp sugar
  14. Prepare to taste Salt
  15. Take 1/4 cup blanched palak puree
  16. Get Other ingredients:
  17. Get 1 tbsp Oil
  18. Get 1 tsp mustard seeds
  19. Take 2 tsp sesame seeds
  20. Take 1 pinch asafoetida/hing
Instructions to make Veg Handvo:
  1. Firstly in big bowl combine all the ingridents for handvo and mix well.
  2. Heat the oil in a non stick pan add the mustard seeds when the seeds crackle add the sesame seeds and hing saute for a few seconds.
  3. Pour batter on over tadka evenly to make a thick layer and spread evenly.
  4. Cover and cook on a slow flame for 7-8 minutes or till the base turns golden brown in colour and crisp.
  5. Lift it gently using two large flat spoons and turn it over to the other side.
  6. Cover and cool on a slow flame for another for 5-7 minutes.
  7. Slightly cool and unmould the handvo and serve with pickle, curd and tea.
