  12. Take 1 tbsp butter
  13. Get 1 tbsp desi ghee
  14. Take 2 tbsp cream or malai

Instructions to make Dal makhni:
  1. Wash the daal and soaked for 7-8 hours or overnight.
  2. Now in pressure cooker pour the daal add Salt and ghee.cover with lid and let it 7-8 whistle on med flame. Cook until it soft.
  3. Now Heat a pan add desi ghee and saute a big cardamon,jeera and hing. Add the onion and ginger garlic paste, cook until brown.add green chilli too.
  4. Add tomatoes, Salt and all spices.mix it well and cook for 5 minutes.cover with lid.open the lid and check it realise ghee or not.add butter and mix well
  5. Now add garam masala also.add boiled daal in this mixture.
  6. Cook this for 5 minutes.add fresh cream or melted malai. Serve with tandoori naan or roti.
