The ingredients needed to make Sooji Halwa:
  1. Prepare 1 cup semolina sooji
  2. Get 1-1/4 cup sugar
  3. Make ready 1 tbsp besan(gram flour)
  4. Get 4 cup water
  5. Take 1 cup ghee
  6. Get 1/2 cup sliced badam pistachios mix
  7. Make ready 1/2 tsp saffron
Instructions to make Sooji Halwa:
    1. Heat ghee in a pan ; add suji and roast till golden brown - 2. Add besan and roast for 2-3 minutes - 3. Till you roast suji, on another gas boil water with sugar & - saffron
    1. After roasting suji add sugar and boiling water - 5. After 4-5 minutes add dry fruits and stir again for 2 min - 6. Add 2 tbsp ghee, stir it and switch off the gas ; it should - be little soft and not completely dry
  1. Transfer in a bowl & garnish with sliced almonds & pista - 8. Enjoy HALWA with POORI and BLACK CHANA
