- Boil rice and all dal in pressure cooker add turmeric powder and salt mix well cook till 4 whistles are given out.
- Heat butter in a pressure cooker,add cumin seeds, curry leaves and onion and sauté till lightly browned.Add ginger, garlic, green chillies and sauté till fragrant. Add red chilli powder, salt and bay leaves mix it well.
- Now add boiled rice and dal in it and mix it very well cook for 5 to 10 minutes. And serve hot.
