- Now keep 2nd poori on top of the first and grease it with oil and apply corn flour dust.
- Similary keep on adding pooris followed by greasing and dusting with corn flour and make a tire with 5 poori, in one tire only 5 pooris should be used.It looks something like below.
- Now dust with corn flour on both side and roll into a big chapati.
- Heat a tawa and roast this chapati to the tawa. After 10 sec flip over the side and roast the other side for another 10 second.
- Take out immediately from tawa and keep aside covered in cloth to cool down.
- Similarly do it with the left 5 pooris.
- Now after 10 minute take out the chapati and untier each layer gently.
- Your pastry sheet is ready. Each sheet will be so transparent that you would be able to see your palm through it.
- Cut the sides and your market textured pastry sheet will be ready to use. You can keep these sheets in a plastic bag and refrigerate for later use.
