Steps to make Suji Halwa:
- Keep kadai on low flame.
- Add ghee in the kadai.
- When ghee is hot, add Suji and Kaju.
- Roast till it becomes brown in color. (Roast Suji on the low flame else it will burn and spoil the taste)
- On the other burner add water and sugar in a pan on medium flame.
- When water and sugar is boiled, add this to the suji mixture slowly while continuously stirring.
- Suji will begin absorbing water and start thickening.
- Now add kishmish and grated coconut to the mixture
- Continue stirring till Suji absorbs all the water with still some moisture left.
- Add cardamom powder and turn off the flame.
- Garnish with grated coconut and Serve hot.
