  3. Chop onion and tomatoes
  4. Take oil add the tadka
  5. To this add onion and cook till translucent
  6. Add ginger garlic paste once cooked till golden brown add tomatoes
  7. Once tomatoes get cooked add powdered masala
  8. Cook for another two minutes to this add corn and green peas
  9. Add lots of coriander leaves
  10. Add soaked dal and rice with water and salt
  11. Pressure cook for 2 whistles
  12. Soft and yummy dal khichdi is ready eat when hot
