Pakora (pronounced [pəˈkoːɽaː]), also called pikora, pakoda, pakodi, fakkura, bhajiya, bhajji, bhaji or ponako, is a fried snack (fritter), originating from the Indian subcontinent.

- In a bowl add ragi flour,onions,curry leaves, coriander leaves,peanuts, roasted chanadal,chilli powder and salt. Mix well.
- In a frying pan heat 1 Tbsp Oil,pour it into the mixture and mix well.
- Then sprinkle little amount of water gradually and mix well. The dough should be moist like that of Chapathi dough. Don't pour more water.
- Rest the batter for 10mins.
- Add oil in the same frying pan. Heat it. Then add the dough in small portions.
- Fry stirring occasionally for even frying. Fry till it's light brown and drain them in an absorbent paper. Don't over fry.
- Now it's ready to serve. Serve it with hot tea or coffee.
