- After washing basmati rice soak in water for half an hour.Then in a pressure cooker add rice,fish,green chilly,2 tbsp mustard oil,chopped ginger,red chilly powder, turmeric powder,salt and 11/2cups of water.you can add grated coconut though I have not used.
- Now pressure cook it for 1 whistle.
- Now it is ready.serve stimed hilsa rice with mustard sauce.
