Instructions to make Shahi Paneer:
- First 0f all soak kaju in lukewarm milk for minimum 20 minutes.
- In a pan heat oil add cumin seeds saute for 30 seconds than add cinnamon stick, whole black pepper and red chili saute well and add ginger garlic paste.
- After that add diced onions into pan and saute till onions turns golden brown now add diced tomatoes saute well. When mixture leaving pan turn off the gas.
- Grind kaju-milk mixture smooth. Make sure there is no lumps in it.
- When onion-tomato mixture cool completely grind it also in a smooth paste.
- Take a pan add onion-tomato paste and saute again till mixture leaving the pan now add kaju paste and saute again till oil appears.
- Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, sugar and salt sprinkle some water and saute again for 2 minutes now add paneer cubes and saute for 2 minutes so that all the masala and paneer cooperated well.
- Now add water according to your desired consistency bring a boil and put it on simmer for 5-10 minutes.
- Turn off the gas and add garam masala and cover it for a while.
- Delicious shahi paneer is ready to serve garnish with coriander leaves.
- Special instruction- For step 6 always make sure that gas is on lower heat so we can roast mixture well without sticking pan or burning.
