  1. Prepare 1 cups Black Channa
  2. Take 1 tsp Oil
  3. Make ready 3-4 piece Ginger sliced
  4. Prepare 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds

  6. Make ready Green chilli splitted 2 nos
  7. Make ready Curry leaves 2 sprig

Instructions to make Black channa sundal:
  1. Wash and soak the black Channa for 6 hrs or overnight.
  2. Now pressure cook the Channa with enough water to soak, salt and Ginger. Give it upto 5 whistles.
  3. Once the pressure comes down, filter the water from Channa and take out the ginger pieces.
  4. In a pan, add oil when hot add mustard seeds, urad dal, green chilli and Curry leaves and once they splutters add the cooked Channa.
  5. Now the Sundal is ready to eat.
  6. If you want you can add onion while tempering and after taking from heat also grated coconut can be added.
