- Prepare 1 kg pumpkin (yellow)
- Make ready 1 cup sugar
- Prepare 1-2 tbsp desi ghee

- Take 1 tsp elaichi powder
Steps to make Pumpkin Halwa:
- Wash peel and cut pumpkin to small cubes.
- In a pressure cooker heat ghee and roast pumpkin for 2-3 minutes.
- Now add very little water and pressure cooker the pumpkin for 2 whisles.
- When cooker cooled down open the lid and roast pumpkin on slow flame by mashing pumpkin by spetula.
- Add little ghee if needed.
- When it turns to light brown add sugar, nuts and elaichi powder.
- When perfect colour comes and halwa leaves the sides it means it's ready to be served.
- Serve by spreading nuts on the top.
