The ingredients needed to make Mango Cassata:
  1. Get For Mango Kulfi (stuffing)
  2. Get 4 cups full cream milk +1/3 cup milk
  3. Get 4 tbsp milk powder
  4. Prepare 4 tbsp sugar
  5. Make ready 1/2 cup condensed milk
  6. Prepare 1 cup alphonso mango pulp
  7. Make ready 4-6 alphonso mango (to stuff mango kulfi)
Steps to make Mango Cassata:
  1. Keep milk for boiling.
  2. In mixing bowl add milk powder and 1/3 cup milk. Mix well to make lump free mixture.
  3. As milk boiled till, half quantity remains,add milk powder+ milk mixture in it stirring continuously.
  4. Add sugar and stirring constantly,boil for 5 minutes. Off the flame. Add condensed milk and mix well. Cool at room temperature.
  5. Add mango pulp to this cooled kulfi mixture. Mix well.
  6. Gently slice off the upper part of Alphonso Mango. Scrap out seed part, taking care to keep sides of mango fruit intact. Prepare All similarly.
  7. Place one of this mango in glass. Pour prepared Mango Kulfi in it upto it's brim. Cover with it's upper sliced part. Prepare All similarly.
  8. Keep in freezer to chill for 8-10 hours.
  9. At the time of serving,peel of the outer skin of mangoes. Cut into thick slices.
  10. Relish Chilled Mango Cassata.
