Instead of boiled chana you can use mung sprouts or boiled moong beans. To get the best taste of the dahi papdi chaat always use the chilled yogurt. How to make Dahi Papdi Chaat. Then remove the extra water and grind the dal little coarsely.
Instructions to make Dahi moong-papadi chaat:
- Moong pakodi: Soak moong dal overnight or 6 hours. After that remove water and make it to smooth paste in grinder jar without adding water.
- Keep a kadhai on medium flame add oil for frying. Now make small balls and put it in hot oil and fry till cooked or golden brown.
- Now soak pakodi in warm water. Squeeze all water from pakodi and keep ready.
- Take a bowl add 3-4 moong pakodi, break 3-4 matharis add into it. Put sweet curd pudina Chutney and tamarind Chutney. Again make one layer of moong pakodi and mathari.
- Add sweet curd tamarind and pudina Chutney, salt, jeera powder, chaat masala. Garnish with sev, fresh coriander leaves and pomegranate seeds. Chaat is ready to serve.
