  1. Make ready 250 gm Cashew Nuts
  2. Prepare 200 gm sugar
  3. Get 2 (3 tsp) milk powder
  4. Get 2 tsp Ghee
Instructions to make Kaju Barfee/Kaju Halwa:
  1. Grind the cashew nuts/kaju in coarse way, not fine or it may stick to jar due to heat of mixer.
  2. Boil around 350ml of water in a vessel and add all the sugar to it. Dont let it be pure thick syrup. Just let the sugar get dissloved completely and then add the cashew nut coarse powder into it
  3. Mix the whole paste well and make sure it does not stick to the vessel. Add now milk powder and ghee. Keep stirring the mixture till ghee leaves on the surface. This will give brown colour to the halwa and look as of Suji Halwa and taste of Kaju Katli 😊(you can add 2 3 pinch of cardamom/elaichi powder to bring diff flavor)
  4. Take a plate and grease it with ghee. Spread the mixture over it and let it cool down. Later put it in the refrigerator.
  5. Take out and make diamond shaped pieces. Your halwa is ready 😊
