  12. Make ready As per taste salt

  14. Get 6-8 Tablespoons oil

Instructions to make Dabeli:
  1. Firstly boil the potatoes in pressure cooker up to 5 whistles. Then drain the excess water and cool down. Peel off and finely mash the potatoes with a masher or a fork.
  2. Now take a deep pan and heat it with 4-5 tablespoons oil, add asafoetida and add finely chopped onions and saute it for few minutes and then add the mashed potatoes and mix well. Sprinkle some salt, red chilli powder, daabeli masala, turmeric powder and mix thoroughly.
  3. Let it simmer for few minutes than pour tamarind watery pulp and mix well. Adjust the seasoning. Turn off the flame garnish with finely chopped coriander and let it cool down. Meanwhile peel and separate the pomegranate seeds
  4. Now heat A flat pan / tava and sprinkle some oil and roast the pav/bread buns from both the sides. Transfer it in a plate and open it from the center and fill/spread the potato stuffing, sprinkle masala peanuts, pomegranate seeds, some onion and nylon sev and serve immediately.
  5. You can sprinkle some more peanuts, and pomegranate seeds on the top before serving.
