The ingredients needed to make Vanilla Ice Cream:
  1. Prepare 80 g Egg yolk
  2. Get 100 g Caster sugar
  3. Get 250 g Full cream milk
  4. Get 250 g Heavy cream
  5. Make ready 1 tbsp Vanilla essence
Instructions to make Vanilla Ice Cream:
  1. Combine egg yolk and sugar. Cream until pale. Set aside.
  2. Combine milk and heavy cream in a pot. Bring to a simmer.
  3. Slowly add milk mixture to the egg mixture. Whisking continuously.
  4. Pour the mixture back into the pot. On low heat, cook until mixture reach 95°C. Stiring continuously.
  5. Add vanilla essence and allow mixture to cool completely, then store in the refrigerator overnight.
  6. Churn in ice cream machine until done. Time varies depending on machine.
  7. Store in a ice cream tub and freeze at least 6 hours.
  8. Serve and enjoy
