  1. In a cooker heat one tsp ghee, add Dalia and roast on low flame. Roast it till Dalia turn aromat. It will take approximately 5 to 6 minutes.
  2. Now add 3 cup water and salt. Stir it well. Cover and pressure cooker for 1 whistle then turn the flame minimum and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Open the cooker when steam has come out. Let it cool down completely.
  4. Now in a pan heat 2 tsp ghee. Add cumin seeds, asafoetida.
  5. Then add turmeric powder, ginger chilli paste sauté for a minute. Then add carrot saute for a minute.
  6. Then add beans sauté for a minute then add beetroot and sauté for a minute,add capsicum, green peas and again saute for a minute.
  7. Finally add tomato sauté till it soft. Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin seed powder. Mix well.Then add cooked Dalia in pan. Mix well.
  8. Cover the pan for 2 to 3 minutes.
  9. Remove pan from heat. Mix veg dalia is ready. Serve it with finely chopped coriander and lemon pickle /curd.
  10. You can add vegetable of your choice to make Dalia more nutritious. You can also add garlic and onion for flavour.
