  10. Get 2 tsp lemon juice
  11. Prepare 1/4 cup finely chopped coriander leaves
  12. Prepare 1 tsp finely chopped green chillies
  13. Take 1 tsp sugar
  14. Get to taste Salt
  15. Make ready 1/4 cup blanched palak puree
  16. Take Other ingredients:
  17. Make ready 1 tbsp Oil
  18. Get 1 tsp mustard seeds
  19. Get 2 tsp sesame seeds
  20. Make ready 1 pinch asafoetida/hing
Steps to make Veg Handvo:
  1. Firstly in big bowl combine all the ingridents for handvo and mix well.
  2. Heat the oil in a non stick pan add the mustard seeds when the seeds crackle add the sesame seeds and hing saute for a few seconds.
  3. Pour batter on over tadka evenly to make a thick layer and spread evenly.
  4. Cover and cook on a slow flame for 7-8 minutes or till the base turns golden brown in colour and crisp.
  5. Lift it gently using two large flat spoons and turn it over to the other side.
  6. Cover and cool on a slow flame for another for 5-7 minutes.
  7. Slightly cool and unmould the handvo and serve with pickle, curd and tea.
