The ingredients needed to make Masoor pulao:
  1. Prepare 1 cup basmati rice (1 hour soaked)
  2. Make ready 1/2 cup masoor (soaked for 3 to 4 hours)

  6. Get 2 cardamoms
  7. Make ready 1 inch cinnamon

  12. Prepare 6-7 cashews
  13. Make ready 12 dry grapes
  14. Take As per taste Salt
  15. Get 1/4 cup oil and ghee mix
  16. Make ready Few Mint leaf
  17. Prepare 6 coriander leaves for garnish
  18. Prepare 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  19. Get 1 tbsp ginger paste
  20. Make ready 1 tbsp garlic paste
  21. Make ready 3 green chillies cut in long strips
  22. Get 1/2 lemon juice
Instructions to make Masoor pulao:
  1. Heat oil and ghee add cumin seeds after that add onion slices, saute it to till turn lightly brown it should not too much after that add potato cubes and cook 50 to 70%, now roast cashews and grapes.
  2. Take out all in a 1 dish.
  3. After that in the same oil and ghee, add the whole masala and saute 1 minute then add ginger, garlic paste and chilli. Let it cook for some time now add onion slices, potato, cashews and dry grapes, add masoor & mix it.
  4. Add rice, salt and lemon juice then add 3 cups of water, cook it like regular rice & garnish with mint and coriander leaves.
