  1. Rinse 2 cup of heaped basmati rice in water.Soak rice for 10 to 15 mins.Then drain the water and keep the rice in a stainer.
  2. At the sametime while rice is soaking chop the vegetables.Prepare chutney.In a mixer jar grind all the ingredients given in the list 'For chutney' and keep it aside.Grind it to a smooth paste.
  3. Heat required oil in a pressure cooker.Add the whole spices mentioned in ingredients list one by one.Saute the spices for few seconds till u get a nice aroma.
  4. Add green chillies and chopped vegetables one by one.Saute the vegetables.
  5. Add the chutney and mix well.Add rice gently stir and mix it with other ingredients.
  6. Add 4 cups water.Add required salt and stir well.
  7. Cover it with the lid and pressure cook chutney pulao for 3 whistles on medium flame.
  8. After pressure settles down on it's own from the cooker.Remove the lid and gently fluff the pulao.
  9. Serve the yummy Chutney Pulao with raita.
