  1. First soaked fenugreek seed in a cup of water before an hour or at least for 30min.then next wash rice properly and keep aside allow soaking of rice in water also while cutting the veggies.next peel off the potatoes and cut into small pieces,cut carrots also into small rod shape pieces, next chop onions,cut tomato and chop ginger very finely.
  2. Take a pot pour water to it and keep it on stove for boiling next take pressure cooker and heat it then pour oil to it and heat,now add strained fenugreek seeds to heated oil and keep the strained water aside,now add chopped onion to oil and fry till it becomes translucent then next add all veggies except tomatoes,fry for 2mins then add rice to it and mix them and stir for 1min then add boiled water to it.
  3. Next add tomatoes and ginger and sliced chillies and finally add strained water from fenugreek seeds,salt and black pepper.fit the lid and cook for 2 whistles /for 6-7min on medium flame.
  4. Serve with salad or fresh raita.
