  13. Get 2 tsp Cooking oil
Instructions to make Instant Khaman Dhokla:
  1. At first in a bowl put the gram flour, add a pinch of turmeric, salt, 2tbs sugar, semolina and 1tbs refined oil. Mix the ingredients gradually add water and make a thick batter and let it rest for 10- 15 minutes
  2. Turn on the gas and put on a kadai. Pour 2 glasses of water and place a stand and let it boil. Until then with a brush and a little oil grease the plate
  3. When the water gets boil add eno to the batter and mix it so that it becomes puffy then pour the batter in the plate then tap it and put it in kadai and cover it with lid and cook it for 20 minutes.
  4. In a pan pour a little oil and heat up. Add mustard seeds and let it a crackle and then add asafetida and mix it. Add the sliced chilies, fresh curry leaves and fry a little. The tadka is ready. Add 2 cups of water and 3 tbs of sugar and let it warm up on low flame just to make the sugar melt and then turn off the flame. Add 2tbs of lemon juice at last and mix it.
  5. In meanwhile let's check the dhokla. Take knife and and dig it if it comes out clean our dhokla is ready. Let it rest and cool down.
  6. Now de-mould it by carefully running the knife along the edges. And put on a plate on top of plate and tap it out of the plate. Now pour the shikinji that we made on it. Cut into your pieces of your choice.
  7. Add fresh coriander and serve it with a green chutney. Our instant Khaman Dhokla is ready.
