- Prepare 11/2 cup basmati rice

- Take 8-10 fried cashewnuts to garnish
- Get 8-10 fried almond to garnish
- Make ready 2 tbsp fried onions slices

Instructions to make Veg Mughali Pulao:
- Wash and soak basmati rice for 2 hours. Keep all mentioned ingredients ready to prepare pulao.
- Chopped all mentioned veggies.
- Heat ghee in kadhai, roast cashewnuts, almond and 1/4 cup onion slices separately till golden brown. Keep aside.
- In same kadhai add & heat more 2 tbsp ghee. Add cinnamon stick,cloves, cummin seeds,snauf, black peppercorns,bay leaves,as cummin seeds splutter,add onion slices and saute till golden brown.
- Add all chopped Vegetables,mix and saute for 3-4 minutes,add coriander leaves and water. Boil it on medium flame.
- After one boil,add soaked basmati rice, green chillies ginger paste, lemon juice, salt and saute on high flame. After one boil, lower the flame (slow gas). Cover and cook for 10 mins,till rice grain is cooked, in between stirring and checking if need to add more water. After 10 mins stand still open the lid. Transfer prepare Pulao in serving bowl.
