  8. Get 1 green chilli
  9. Prepare 2 cups gram flour

  14. Get 1 tablespoon black pepper

It is a favourite North Indian everyday dish that is perfect for summers as well as winters. Palak Kadhi or Spinach Kadhi is a yogurt based gravy made with spinach, chick pea flour and Indian spices. Steps to make Palak kadhi:
  1. Roughly chop spinach and wash it and boil it in pressure cooker upto 6-7 whistles..and then cook it at low flame for 10 min.
  2. Now take a pan, heat oil and add green chilli and grated ginger and garlic in it..
  3. When ginger, garlic becomes red then add chopped onion into it..
  4. Now when onion becomes red in colour add salt and turmeric powder into it
  5. Cook for a minute and add grated tomato
  6. Cook it for 5-10 minute
  7. Now spinach that we boiled, let it cool down, when it cooled down mash it with a masher
  8. After mashing it with masher add mashed spinach into onion tomato paste
  9. Cook it now until it mix it with mixture properly
  10. Now take sour lassi in bowl and add gram flour and mix it with a blender
  11. Now add the sour lassi and gram flour mixture into masala (onion, tomato and spinach)
  12. Now keep stirring the kadhi and add water as required and bring boil 2-3 times
  13. Cool it on medium or low flame for half an hour and keep stirring in between
  14. Palak kadhi is ready to serve

Sounds strange, but tastes and looks very interesting. Palak purée and green paste imparts flavouir along with a bright green colour and vitamin.
