It is a favourite North Indian everyday dish that is perfect for summers as well as winters. Palak Kadhi or Spinach Kadhi is a yogurt based gravy made with spinach, chick pea flour and Indian spices. Instructions to make Palak kadhi:
- First wash the spinach leaves with water.,for 3-4 time then drain..
- Now finely chopped it
- Take a pan add ghee heat it..add cumin seeds, turmeric powder and put chopped leaves and roasted for 3-4 mins on sim flame.
- Now take a big bowl add curd and gram flour mix it with hand beeter properly.
- Now add it in pan and stirring continuously become boil it do gas flame slow. and add salt mix it.
- Cook for 15 mins on slow flame. And add all spices then 5 mins again cook.
- Take a pan add 1tsp ghee heat it and add cumin seeds and dry red chilli,curry leaves.. switch off the flame.
- Take a serving blow pour ready palak kadhi and put all tadka on it…
- Now YUMMMY palak kadhi is ready….
Sounds strange, but tastes and looks very interesting. Palak purée and green paste imparts flavouir along with a bright green colour and vitamin.
