Steps to make Cream Kunafa:
  1. Take the semi-frozen kunafa dough and crush it.
  2. Add melted butter and mix well.Keep it aside
  3. In a pan mix milk, cream, sugar, flour and corn flour. Boil the mixture and keep stirring till it thickens. Switch off the flame and let it cool.
  4. Meanwhile prepare the sugar syrup by boiling sugar and water add in lemon juice and boil till sugar completely dissolves.Switch off when the syrup thickens and add rose essence.
  5. Preheat the oven at 180c.
  6. Take an 8inch baking tin grease it with butter and spread half of the Kunafa Dough mix, press well with a flat bottom cup or lid.Pour the prepared cream filling on top of it. Layer the rest of Kunafa Dough above the cream and press slightly.
  7. Bake for 35 mins or till the top and bottom turns brown.
  8. Serve with crushed pistachios and sugar syrup when hot on top as needed.
