- Take 400 gram thinly sliced beef tongue
- Take 1 onion, sliced thinly

- Prepare 1 bouillon cube (beef)
- Prepare 1 pinch salt
- Prepare 1 tbsp honey

Gyutan-don is a dish of grilled or stir-fried gyutan served over rice in a large donburi bowl. Tender gyutan from the back half of the tongue is thinly sliced for a dish similar to gyudon (beef bowl), but with a beefier flavor.
Instructions to make Simple Gyutan Don:
- Stir-fry onion with oil until a bit translucent.
- Add beef tongue and stir occasionally.
- When the tongue has changed color, add corn kernels and celery. Mix well. Add beef bouillon, salt, and honey. Adjust the taste when necessary.
- Serve over warm rice.
