- Wash the chicken. Squeeze the water. Make some angular cuts with knife on chicken pieces🍗🍗🔪
- Marination: Marinate the chicken with 2tbs yogurt, 0.5cup onion paste, ginger paste, garlic paste, oil, 1tsp salt for 1-2hrs. Nutmeg and Mace powder can be added in the marination🥣
- Meanwhile soak the poppy seed and cashew nuts in water for an hour and then make a paste. Soak the saffron in warm milk. Chop the green chillies🌶️✔️
- In a non-stick kadai, take the ghee. Temper it with the whole spices. Add remaining onion paste and the chopped green chillies. Lightly fry for 2min (approx) till the onion becomes translucent. Add the poppy-cashew paste. Stir. Lower the heat and add the remaining yogurt. Add the yogurt slowly little at a time and mixing continuously. Now, add the chicken. Mix with the white gravy. Add water. Bring it to boil. Cover and simmer for 15min🥘
- After 15min, add 1.5tsp salt, sugar, kewra water, mitha attar and saffron milk. Stir and simmer for 5min🍽️
