  13. Make ready 1and1/2 tbsp Corn flour/ Rice flour OR poha (dry roast and make a powder) OR breadcrumbs
  14. Take Oil to shallow fry
Instructions to make Spicy Crispy Aloo Tikki:
  1. Boil potatoes until just cooked and let it cool down. Peel and grate or mash the potatoes in a mixing bowl. Add all the ingredients except oil. Mix everything together.
  2. Divide the mixture to 5 equal parts. Take a portion of aloo tikki mixture and make a ball and gently fatten them into a round shape. Also you can make a roll of it. You can make as per you desire size and shape. (If it is very soft to handle you can refrigerate it for 5-10 mins after shaping)
  3. Heat a pan add refined oil and put the tikkis gently on the pan and shallow fry. Cook each side till it's golden and crisp. Strain and remove on paper napkin.
  4. Garnish and serve hot with green chutney / Imli chutney/ tomato ketchup / onions / green chilli.
