- In a heavy bottomed pan combine coconut, jaggery, salt, raisins,cashew-badam pieces.
- Mix well and cook until the mixture comes to thick.
- Add nutmeg and cardamom powder, mix well, take off flame and allow it to cool.
- Now take wheat flour dough, knead again and make small balls.
- Dust the rolling surface with some wheat flour and roll in circles with rolling pin.
- Add 1-2 tsp of filling, cover it and give the shape like gujiyas.
- Heat oil in a pan, deep fry the gujiyas on low flame till it turns golden brown.
- Remove on kitchen towel and serve.
