Steps to make Sweet Buns:
  1. Mix the dry ingredients nicely. Sieve the ingredients.
  2. Mix curd and 2 tbsp cooking oil with the dry ingredients, lightly
  3. Then add milk and make the dough. The dough should be made just mixing ingredients, not to be pressed hard.
  4. Use the remaining 1 tbsp oil in-between to make soft dough. No need to give rest to the dough.
  5. Greas the cavities of idli tray. Make 5 to 6 buns by kneading and making bun shape, keep in greased cavities. Brush the remaining milk over the balls.
  6. Take some salt in the idli maker pot. Place the stand with balls. Add some white sesame seeds.
  7. Place the idli stand with bun balls and covered with the lid. Bake on low- medium flame for 20- 25 minutes. Up to 20 minutes the cover should not be opened. Between 20-25 minutes buns are usually baked.
  8. If the colour has not changed to brown, keep for 5-10 minutes more.
  9. Switch off the gas and bring down the tray with buns. Immediately brush the buns with butter/oil and cover with clean and wet kitchen towel for 30 minutes. This method, remains the moisture in the buns and make soft. - - Home made buns are ready to serve. - Thanks
