  2. Heat oil in a pressure cooker.
  3. Add Panch-phoran, let it crackle.
  4. Add chopped onion, fry it till translucent.
  5. Add star anise, fry for a minute.
  6. Add cubed potato and parwal, sauté on a high heat for 2 to 3 minutes.
  7. Add garlic paste, continue to sauté for a minute.
  8. Reduce the heat to medium. Add prepared masala paste from the first step. Saute well.
  9. Add ½ cup of water, salt and pressure cook for 2 – 3 whistles or till done.
  10. Dish out and garnish with coriander.
  11. Serve hot with rice, roti and dal.
