  1. Grind rice and dal coarsely
  2. In a vessel mix grinded batter, curd,fenugreek sèeds and turmeric powder.
  3. Keep this batter covered with a lid for 9 to 10 hours
  4. To the fermented batter add chopped Coriander leaves chopped,ginger chilli paste, salt and water and mix well
  5. In a separate vessel, heat oil on a medium flame. When hot, add mustard seeds and hing. When the mustard seeds starts sputtering, add the tempered mixture to the fermented batter. Mix well.
  6. Pour this batter to the greased plate (thali).Steam the Dhokla.
  7. When the steamed Dhokla puff up slightly and r done remove from the gas.Off the gas.Check the Dhokla with a knife whether done or not.
  8. It takes approximately 5-7 minutes for the Dhokla to be done.
  9. Remove and cut into pieces.
  10. Dhokla rice any time, quick snacks on festive time accompanied with green Chutney.
