- Wash urad Dal properly till water become transparent and then soak both of them in water for 4 - 5 hours or overnight
- After 5 hours,drain out the water from daal and then first grind urad Dal smooth paste.
- Now take a bowl, now strat stirring the batter for 10 min with only in one direction with the help of hand.
- Doing this process will help air trapping in the batter will become more spongy
- Add the ginger garlic paste, chilli paste,raisins,hing and mix them properly.
- After 10 min,turn the bowl upside down and of the batter is not flowing down,batter is perfect
- Now take a kadhayi,add oil in it and keep the gas on medium flame.
- When oil gets heated up, drop batter drop by drop and start immediately throwing oil on top of them which will help them swell and float on top of oil.
- After some times,when they start changing colour immediately turn off the gas and take them out in a plate and let them cool down.
- Mean while,take a big pot,add 1 litre water in it,500 ml warm water and 1pinch hing and 1tsp salt.
- When they cool down properly,again turn on the gas and this time keep it on high flame and off the flame
- Now soak them water for 10 min,after 10 min squeeze some water from vada
- Then take a plate,add vada in it with curd,black salt,cumin powder,chilli powder, tamarind sauce.
- Ready to eat
