Instructions to make Shahi Tukra:
  1. Heat a cup of water and put all the almonds in it.
  2. After half an peel it.
  3. For making Rabri, take a heavy bottom pan.
  4. Pour 4 cups of milk in it.
  5. When it comes to boil, simmer the flame.
  6. Stirr it continously so that it does not get burnt from the bottom.
  7. When milk starts getting reducing, you can add 2 tblspn grinded dryfruits. (it's optional).
  8. Dryfruit powder is added to reduce the cooking time of Rabri.
  9. Stirr again and again and scrape so that the milk does not get burnt from the middle and sides.
  10. Keep on removing the clotted cream and scrapping.
  11. When the milk becomes thickened then switch off the flame.
  12. Now add sugar and mix it so that it dissolves.
  13. Now add rose water and mix it.
  14. Now we have to toast the bread.
  15. Cut the edges of the bread.
  16. Now cut them into triangle or what ever shape you like it.
  17. Heat the flat pan or tawa.
  18. Now brush 1 tspn ghee on it.
  19. Place the slices of bread on it on medium flame.
  20. When it gets brown and crispy flip it again and toast it.
  21. Now transfer the bread slices on the plate.
  22. Now we have make sugar syrup.
  23. Mix 1/2 cup of sugar with 1/4 cup water in a pan.
  24. The flame should be low.
  25. When the solution startsvboiling, then cook it till you get one thread consistency of the sugar syrup.
  26. Now switch off the flame and add cardamom powder and mix it.
  27. Now we have to make Shahi Tukra.
  28. So dip the bread slices into the sugar syrup.
  29. Take out with the help of tong.
  30. The bread slices should be coated evenly with the syrup.
  31. Now arrange them on the serving tray.
  32. Pour all the Rabri on the sugar syrup coated slices.
  33. Garnish them with almonds.
