  16. Take 1 tsp red chilli powder
  17. Get 1 1/2 tbsp coriander powder
  18. Take 2 tsp garam masala
  19. Take 1 pinch hing / asafoetida
  20. Get 1 1/2 tsp aamchoor
  21. Take 1/2 tsp goda masala
  22. Take as per taste salt
Steps to make Bharwa Bhindi [ gravy]:
  1. Wash and pat dry bhindi/okra.
  2. In a pan roast besan and keep aside.
  3. Dry roast peanuts and keep it aside.
  4. Pour a little bit of oil in a pan and add sesame seeds and roast it and then add grated coconut.
  5. Add in ginger and roast it.
  6. When the coconut become dry add in all the powdered ingredients for the stuffing and roast it until golden brown.
  7. Put the roasted peanut in a mixer and pulse it 3-4 times. Add in the besan and the roasted coconut mixture along with it and grind it.
  8. Make a slit in the middle of the bhindi and stuff this filling in it. [ keep some stuffing aside]
  9. Pour oil in a pan and saute this stuffed bhindi and cover it and cook for 2-3 minutes. fry it until dark green.
  10. Then pour oil in wok and crackle cumin seeds and add onions, green chilli and ginger. Saute it until the onions become brown.
  11. Add chopped tomatoes and leftover stuffing mix in this, mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  12. Then add salt and enough water into it and cook until the tomatoes are done.
  13. Then add the fried okra/ bhindi into this and mix gently.cover and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  14. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
