- Soak chana daal for 1/2 an hour,
- Wash, peel and cut lauki into cubes.
- Cook daal with salt, haldi, red chilli powder and ginger garlic paste. Don’t over cook.
- Take little oil in a pan and fry lauki add little black pepper in it.
- Mix daal and lauki and add chicken broth and green chilli chopped.
- Give tarka of khalis ghee with fresh garlic slices, zeera and black pepper.
- Serve with paratha and onion salad.
