Steps to make Aloo tikki:
- First of all, wash the yellow moong daal and boil it. Temper it with mustard seeds and green chilli finely chopped. Add salt, red chilli powder and cumin powder. Cook for a while. Let it cool down.
- Boil potatoes and peel them. Then mash them. Add corn flour and mix well. Now take small portions of potatoes and fill each portion with daal mixture. Shape them round discs.
- Now shallow fry the tikkis in pan properly from both sides.
- For serving, place tikkis on plate. Add Coriander leaves. Now top it with sweetened curd. Add tangy sweet and spicy imli chutney. Add sev and pomegranate kernels from top.
- Very delicious and healthy tikkis are ready to serve.
- For imli chutney boil imli jaggery and green chilli together. Once it get boiled nicely, cool down the mixture. Now churn it in mixture and strain it. Add salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder and black salt.
