The ingredients needed to make Pasta Blasta:
  1. Make ready 1 tbsp olive oil, extra virgin
  2. Make ready 2 cup chopped bacon

  6. Take 2 tsp Blasta spices

  10. Take 2 tsp dark soft brown sugar
  11. Prepare 1 tbsp roasted garlic granules (or 2 teaspoon garlic powder)

  13. Take 2 tsp paprika (powder)
  14. Prepare 1 tsp coarse ground black pepper
  15. Take 1/2 tsp yellow mustard powder or 2 teaspoons of yellow mustard seeds (crushed)
  16. Take 2 tsp coriander leaves finely chopped
Instructions to make Pasta Blasta:
  1. Mix all of the blasta ingredients together and keep in a small jar with a lid on
  2. Bring to boil a large pan of water and cook the pasta as directions whilst the onions and bacon cook. Drain once cooked.
  3. Assemble your ingredients
  4. Heat a large saute pan and add the oil
  5. Soften the onions over a low heat, stir often
  6. Add the bacon and stir until thoroughly cooked through
  7. Once cooked, turn the heat up and allow the bacon & onions to just catch and go a little brown around the edges
  8. Turn heat back down and add the parsley and blasta spices and stir in. Make sure they are evenly distributed
  9. Add the cooked pasta and grated cheese and fully combine whilst still over a low heat.
